Make sense of the numbers.
What can I find out about a number?
Enter a non-negative whole number to see its prime status, square, square root, cross sum, sine and cosine, plus its binary, octal and hexadecimal representations. Every result links to a short explanation.
Which numbers can I enter?
Use digits only, from 0 to 9223372036854775807. Negative numbers, fractions and scientific notation are not supported. Integer conversions and squares are exact; square roots and trigonometric results use decimal approximations.
Are sine and cosine calculated in degrees?
No. Angles are interpreted in radians. One full turn is 2π radians, equal to 360 degrees. Multiply degrees by π / 180 to convert them to radians.
